Even though it’s the height of summer, I’m already looking towards fall and what to wear come autumn. Why is that? Because the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here, of course! The thing I love most about the Anniversary Sale (besides the great prices, obviously) is that it’s a pre-sale, so the clothes you buy at the sale are current and totally trendy.
The Anniversary Sale can be a bit daunting, with thousands of discounted products available, so I’ve done the heavy lifting and rounded up some of my favorite pieces to buy. Hurry though, because popular styles are already selling out!
1. Cozy Knitwear
Autumn is sweater time! Say no to boring knitwear and opt for a sweater with an interesting detail, like statement sleeves or shoulder cut-outs.
2. Classic Denim
Now is the time to get designer denim at a fabulous price! Brands like Paige and Rag & Bone have classic styles discounted at the Anniversary Sale, so stock up on classic cuts like skinny and boyfriend jeans.
3. Wear Everywhere Booties
Slip on a pair of comfortable booties that will keep your feet stylish all autumn long. Low-heeled suede ankle boots are the style to try this year.
4. A Perfect Party Dress
Find a gorgeous dress that will keep you looking chic for all your events this season. Right now I’m digging slip dresses and fun prints.
5. Edgy (Faux) Leather
Who said you need to spend a lot to get the cool leather jacket look? Faux leather styles are basically indistinguishable from the real deal and they cost a fraction of the price.
