A good read may not always have a defined beginning, middle or end. Sometimes, it’s the inspiration and story that you relate to most. That’s how I feel every time I pick up a book at the beginning or end of a day 🙂 I’m always turning to them for a new mindset or a little extra motivation. I also can’t think of anything better than reading in the summer sun! With warmer backdrops, holiday road trips and the long weekend ahead, my Amazon Cart is full. Here are my top reads for summer that I can’t wait to dive into!
1. The 5AM Club: Own Your Morning. Elevate Your Life
Early risers, this one is for us! I’m currently making my way through this one and I can confirm it’s motivating AF. Part playbook, part productivity guide, The 5AM Club concept is a little-known formula that will help you understand how to dedicate your mornings to personal growth while most people are still sleeping.
I’m patiently waiting with the rest of the world for the next season of Handmaid’s Tale and that’s where this book comes in. Which is why I’m so excited to follow along with this dystopian story that follows three sisters and takes place on an isolated island, raised to fear men. Definite road trip material.
3. The Hard Thing About Hard Things
If you’re taking the summer, like me, to hone in on some exciting projects, this book will 1000% resonate for you. Ben Horowitz, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, serves practical wisdom and invaluable insights for any entrepreneur telling it straight from his humbling experiences.
Personal money management, three words that may be too real while you’re out of office. BUT! New mindsets inspire new habits. I’m always looking for ways to manage side projects and track investments so multitasking and maximizing your time in the sun is starting to look even better 🙂
Another book I’m excited to start is this boldly plotted, psychological thriller! This New York Times Best Seller follows Amber Reynolds who is struggling to remember past and present but has a looming suspicion someone close to her may be the cause of her recent accident.
Those are just a few on my list and of course there are so many other great titles out there! I’ve added some extras in the Shop The Post section below 🙂
