I’ve taken you guys along on most of my home decor journey, and I have to say, one of my favorite rooms in my home is definitely my home gym! I loved working with @LaGabHome to put together a gym that really felt like me—and not Globo-Gym 😂 Since this is a room I tend to spend a lot of time in, I wanted to really think about the equipment I brought into the space and incorporate design elements where I could! I know a lot of you tune into my morning workouts, and I wanted to share some of the equipment I think has been worth the investment and what I use most often. Keep scrolling for all the home gym inspo you need!
#1 Ultra Slide Board
You guys have definitely seen this one on my stories! It’s like a classic core slider but even better. They come in a few different sizes/shapes to suit whatever your space and needs are. It’s definitely tough to do if Harley is in the room (in which case, he NEEDS to join in), but it’s SUCH a good workout. Although on the pricier side, it’s worth the investment in my opinion!
#2 Tonal Home Gym
This is probably the coolest piece of equipment I have in this space! It’s essentially a digital weight system that gives you a weight lifting experience using magnets and electricity of up to 200 pounds (so cool right?!). The device itself is about the size of a flat screen TV, which makes it also great for saving space. The price tag on this one is definitely an investment, but if you’re looking for a space saving machine, this is for you! If you’re interested, use my code liukin100 at checkout ❤️
#3 Resistance Bands
My girl Kira has the best resistance bands I’ve ever tried, and they’re a staple in our workouts! I love that they come in 3 different levels of intensity for wherever you are on your workout journey. There are so many different kinds of resistance bands out there, but I personally like to keep it simple with a small set—plus they’re so easy to take with me when I travel!
#4 Kettlebells
This is a must have for any gym setup, I use them for so many different workouts! Kettlebells are actually one of my most used weight training items, and all of my trainers say the same thing—they’re awesome because they’re great for building muscle, increasing your endurance, and strengthening your core. Plus this set of kettlebells is so incredibly CHIC!
#5 Jump Rope
I’ve told you guys how much I loveee jump roping for conditioning. This is one of my favorite full body workouts because it really does activate every muscle in your body. My favorite is definitely my Crossrope weighted jump rope because of how easy it is to change out the weight and customize my workouts for what I’m feeling that day! These are a staple in my home gym and I love coming up with new fun workouts to use them with.
#6 Dumbbells
I don’t always use hand weights, but when I do, these 2.2 lb marble dumbbells are my pick! There’s nothing chic about a neoprene weight, so when I found these at Urban Outfitters, I was immediately sold. Plus, if you’re more of a travertine girl, they’ve got you covered with three different stone finishes. They’re perfect for low weight, high rep workouts, which is me to a T!
