Sometimes you just know when a dress is “The One”. My Emmys weekend was a whirlwind: I flew into Los Angeles from New Jersey that morning and raced over to my hotel, where my amazing stylist Madison was waiting for me. I tried on several dresses, but I knew that the first dress I tried on—this gorgeous sequin gown by Berta—was the winner right away.
After my fitting, I quickly got my hair and makeup done, and then it was off to the red carpet!

First of all I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin.
