I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again! With the holidays upon us, it can be a stressful time getting your last minute Christmas shopping done, hitting your work deadlines, traveling to see your relatives, the list goes on… Matt (my fiancé) and I have had a very busy year of travel and work, so we thought a staycation would be the perfect way to unwind, relax and enjoy some quality time together. Thank you to the Ritz Carlton, Boston for providing us with the most stunning Luxury Park View Suite. While we split our time between LA and the Boston area, we recently moved out of the city and into the burbs (hello real adult life!!) so it was fun to have a night back in the city again! From the time we pulled up to the hotel, to checking out, the entire experience was nothing short of incredible. The attention to detail the hotel and staff paid is worth mentioning… for example, they do their research! We had a special delivery that included a lovely bottle of red wine, a spread of holiday pastries, and a big bowl of sour patch kids, because they heard they were my favorite (bingo!)
I have to imagine I’m right when I say that no matter the location, every Ritz Carlton is stunning, but this one in particular was recently redesigned which gave it a warm, cozy, yet modern look and feel. I think one of our favorites spots was definitely the new Club Lounge (a must add on if you’re staying here) Round the clock snacks, breakfast, lunch, drinks + dessert all served here. The food was delicious and the service was just beyond! The fire place at the Avery Bar was also a cozy setting for an evening drink before dinner. We chose to stay in and enjoy our suite, so we ordered room service for dinner, but if you’re wanting to dine out, I highly suggest getting the daily pasta at Il Molo in the North End, which is just a short uber ride away.
We truly enjoyed our staycation thanks to The Ritz Carlton, Boston and and I can’t wait to come back soon… This might just become a new tradition for us! Here’s to many more #RCmemories
