There’s a fine line between Victorian lady and chic, trend-forward Millennial. And we have the resurgence of the corset to thank for that. It’s an interesting trend, but I’m definitely here for it. I’m sharing 3 ways to rock the trend below.
With Baggy Pants
Because the corset itself is inherently, um, tight, a nice baggy jean is a great juxtaposition for this look.
Corset-Inspired
If you’re not ready to go full 18th century, try a look that’s more corset-inspired (i.e., a dress or shirt with a corset-inspired design).

Most of the corsets out these days show a lot of skin. If that’s not for you, choose a body suit! Pro tip: choose a corset swimsuit for an even comfier fit.
