Real talk- we’ve all had those days. The days where you’re in a funk and something feels off. While it’s totally normal to have these ups and downs, sometimes it’s nice to have a few things in your back pocket to help. I’ve made a quick list of some helpful tips and tricks I’ve picked up to combat the blues!
Call Your Person
Have your person (or people) that just get it. Whenever I’m feeling a little off, a phone call with friends or family immediately puts things in perspective and boosts my mood.
Self Care
Have a little self care ritual that can turn the day around. Whether it is mediating, getting a spray tan, taking a walk, or scheduling a massage- this gift to yourself is sure to shift the vibe.
Work Toward a Goal
I instantly feel better after motivating myself to work toward something I’ve been dreaming up for awhile. Whether it is personal or business related, crossing something off my checklist is a win-win for productivity and mood.
Have a Latté
Or tea if you’re not a coffee person! Taking a drive to my favorite coffee shop and just slowing down for a moment makes me appreciate the little things and changes the narrative of my day.
Dance Parties
Need I say more? Turning the music up and just moving somehow releases anything that may be built up and brings all of the positivity!
