When you WFH, outfit inspiration can be hard to come by! One of my favorite things to do lately has been getting dressed up, most of the time with nowhere to go. Whether you’re catching up with a local friend at a socially-distanced gathering, having an at-home date night, or even just working from home, getting dressed up—a small act of normalcy—can have such a positive impact on your mood during this time.
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite easy date night outfits (friend dates count, too!) that could also double as WFH outfit inspo. These ensembles are some of my favorites for the days I’m trying to look put together but still want to be as comfortable as possible. Keep scrolling for the looks you need on your Fall moodboard ASAP.
SILK SKIRT + CROPPED SWEATER
I’m a firm believer that everyone should have a good silk skirt in their wardrobe! You can wear it so many ways and it’ll quickly be a staple you can’t live without! I’d pair this with a cozy cropped sweater to keep it casual and dress it up with some sneakers or a short heel and dainty jewelry.
STRAIGHT LEG JEAN + SLEEVELESS TURTLENECK
Straight leg denim and a simple top is one of my go-to outfits even when we’re not WFH! I love a good simple outfit, and sometimes it’s really all in the details. I’d style this chic look with some chunky gold hoops and maybe a heel if I’m in the mood!
FAUX LEATHER SKIRT + TUCKED BUTTON DOWN
In a past life, this would’ve been the perfect “desk-to-date-night” look. But it still works, just for an at-home date 🙂 I love pairing skirts with sneakers to create a more casual vibe. Styling with a crisp button down is comfortable and still looks put together and maybe add your favorite accessory as a finishing touch!
