As we all know, I’m an LA girl now! Over this past year or so, my wardrobe has become home to all the classic west coast staples every LA girl needs. Since LA and NYC are my favorite cities for fashion inspo, I love finding ways to tie together my everyday looks with the edge from NYC!
After getting some organization help, I tried to only keep things in my closet that I know are staples I wear every day that can also be worn multiple ways! So, here’s what made the cut – keep scrolling for my 10 wardrobe staples that I can’t live without!
#1 Light Jacket
Best part of LA hands down, you’ll pretty much be able to survive all year round with a light jacket!
#2 Slip Dress
They’re such a trend right now, but really are so versatile! Make it last from day to night with a simple plain white tee underneath and a kitten heel.
#3 Bodysuit
I would put a good bodysuit up there with the perfect white tee, its a non-negotiable must have that everyone needs in their closet!
#4 Denim
LA is known for its easy, chill vibe and sometimes you just need the perfect pair of jeans to throw on with a cropped tee!
#5 Cool Sneakers
Now that athleisure is basically a dress code, cool sneakers are a must!
#6 Cropped Sweater
Cropped sweaters are the best now that high waistlines are back, cozy and chic!
#7 Classic Sunglasses
My absolute favorite part about LA, the sunshine! I never leave the house without a pair, and they’re the perfect finishing touch!
#8 Swim
Because living out in Malibu means plenty of beach time, it also means I can never pass up a good bikini!
#9 Strappy Sandals
Since we can pretty much wear sandals all year round, you can never have too many to choose from!
#10 Statement Jewelry
The perfect finishing touch to any outfit, us LA ladies love to make a statement and sometimes we let our accessories do it for us 😉
