Even though it’s all about the après-ski for me, I still like to look the part. And although I don’t think a ski vacation is in the cards for me this year, here’s hoping that this post will help one of you, who, like me, thinks that skiing is just as much about the outfit as it is about, well, skiing.
So, you’re going to need a few things: a base layer, warm socks, ski pants and a jacket or a ski suit, a neck warmer or gaiter, a hat or an ear-warming head band, boots, googles, gloves, and a helmet. And that should do it! Dressing for a day on the slopes is no joke. You definitely want to be warm, but, what about the parties that come afterward? The champagne showers and the disco music that brings you back to your youth? Yeah, you want to be dressed for that, too.
