One of my all time favorite Summer trends will always be, you guessed it, NEON. Now that we’re officially in summer mode, vibrant colors are all I want to wear! Something about being tan and wearing a pop of color just makes getting dressed even more fun 🙂 But neon can be a tricky trend! There are definitely instances where a full neon lewk is what I’m going for, but typically I opt for a more subtle ensemble. Good news is: if you’re as invested in this summer trend as I am, I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon! Keep scrolling for 3 of my favorite ways to wear neon in my everyday wardrobe.
#1 SUBTLE STATEMENT
For an average day of errands and Zoom calls, I try to use neon colors as an accent color in a minimalist outfit. For example, nails, accessories, or shoes can be a subtle way to add a pop of color! This can also apply to beauty if you’re feeling adventurous, colored eyeliner is usually my favorite product to play with color!
#2 SWIMWEAR
Nothing is more fun than bright colored swimwear, especially if I’m planning on laying out in the sun all day! There are so many bright colors and fun silhouettes to choose from, what better way to capitalize on this summer trend? My favorite thing about swimwear is how you can work it into your everyday life too, making it the perfect 2 for 1. Strapless bandeaus make the perfect tube tops, style with a white linen button down on top and it’s an instant look.
#3 HEAD TO TOE
I won’t lie to you, I love a show stopping look, and neon head to toe always does the trick. If you want to make a statement anywhere – this is your summer trend! Keep it simple with a neon sundress or if you’re really feeling a statement, a neon suit never disappoints.
