I absolutely love the energy and motivation I get from a workout class. You are walking into a space where everyone has the same goal, you are surrounded by positive energy, and leave feeling super accomplished before your day begins (if you’re an early workout person like me, anyway!). With group classes picking back up in the city, I’ve put together a list of my favorite Dallas workout spots.
Session Pilates
These reformer pilate classes are full-body, music-driven workouts that flow seamlessly from one movement to the next. The time flies by, but you 100% feel it the next day!
Ritual One
Ritual One is fairly new to Dallas and SO gorgeous. All of their classes are under infrared heat, which is something I think is so beneficial, so I was happy to see they were coming to town. The Inferno HIIT class is a must try!
District Climb
I didn’t know what to expect when I took my first class here but was pleasantly surprised at how much fun I had. Don’t get me wrong, this is a hard, full-body workout where you are climbing basically the entire time, but the atmosphere of the studio made me really comfortable as a first timer.
GRIT Fitness
GRIT offers such a variety of workout classes and they are all really great. The dance club cardio class is so fun with a group of girlfriends- you almost forget you’re working out!
Tight
Part of the Lagree method, this is a high-intensity low impact workout that combines cardio and resistance training using an M3X Megaformer. Their evening workouts are usually to upbeat music or themed, providing some extra motivation.
Beyond Studios
Beyond focuses on a trio of exercises using the treadmill, rowing machine and free weights, alternating throughout the class. This workout is for both strength and resistance training and cardio intervals.
SoulCycle
I know they are everywhere, but had to throw it in! I love SoulCycle. I always leave a class feeling both mentally and physically reenergized, and there are a few Dallas locations if you love to spin!
Blue Feather Aerial
This is such a unique workout and could be so fun for a bachelorette party, if you are looking to mix up the types of workouts you do, or to learn a new skill.
AKT
This studio is technically in Plano but I included it because it’s just that good! AKT is literally everything I want in a workout. Dance, bands, tone, circuit and recover! I absolutely love it and hear a location in Dallas is opening soon.
Barry’s Bootcamp
Another national treasure, but had to include it! When I am looking for a high intensity interval workout and cardio burn, Barry’s is always one of the best.
If you’re local to Dallas, I hope to see you at a workout class soon. I’m so excited to get back into a routine of jumping back into group class again.
