Over the past week, I’ve spent time both listening and learning to so many different voices and perspectives. One of the biggest takeaways I’ve learned as a white woman with a platform that can be used for change, is that it’s more important than ever to make conscious, consistent effort to support BIPOC owned businesses going forward. There are so many brands that I’ve discovered on IG, and I’m so excited to share them with all of you!
All I ask is: if you are planning on supporting these brands, please be mindful that our support must be ongoing, it doesn’t stop with just one action or purchase. Another huge takeaway I have gathered from educating myself about this movement is that the work can’t stop here. The media coverage will fade, but what we have learned and the conversations we have had will not. It’s our responsibility to remember the promises we’ve made, to keep learning every day and committing ourselves to being better allies. Keep scrolling for a short list of BIPOC owned brands I’m supporting today and every day going forward ❤️
