A (final) swiss recap: the one with all the (incredible) people… that I’m proud (and grateful) to also call friends.

I’ve often found it rare to meet people who “have it all” - and what that actually means, I’m not quite sure. But to simplify it here, let’s just say it looks a little something like this: kind, driven, successful, talented, fun, thoughtful.

The ones who remind you that greatness isn’t just about what you’ve achieved, but how you show up for others—on and off the field.

So I guess what I’m saying is: this group who makes up (roughly half) of the LA28 Athletes’ Commission, and was hand selected by our ever so fearless leader @janet_evans - they do have it all. And they are a glimpse into the heart of @la28games

Being in rooms (trips) like these - surrounded by people who lead with integrity, empathy, and purpose - reminds me why we do what we do. LA28 isn’t just a Games… it’s a promise. A promise to future athletes, to the next generation, and to every little kid watching who mumbles, “that’s what I wanna do when I grow up”….💫
