There are many reasons to look forward to fall: new-season trends, pumpkin spice lattes and layering weather. Fall’s not officially here until mid-September, but that doesn’t mean I’m not already getting in the spirit! There are plenty of trends I can’t wait to start experimenting with and there are seamless ways to start integrating them into your looks. So, because I’m feeling particularly fall-inspired, ahead are six wearable looks I’m trying for fall.
Look #1: Slip Skirt + Leather Jacket
Add some edge to your most worn summer basic, a silk slip skirt, by pairing with a leather jacket and fall boots.
Look #2: Statement Outerwear
Invest in outerwear–wise words to live by. A long, statement coat styles perfectly with any pair of denim and an everyday loafer. You can mix and match these pieces but the statement coat is what pulls together the look.
Look #3: White Pants + Houndstooth Blazer
Hello white after Labor Day. Transition your summer trousers to fall by adding a bold patterned jacket and a black t-shirt.
Look #4: Dress + Sweatshirt
Another perfect transitional look for fall. Pair your favorite cropped sweatshirt with a playful dress and sneakers for that cool girl look.
Look #5: Power Blazer + Denim Skirt + Tights
A little high, a little low and a definite unexpected combination. This sleek look with over-the-knee boots is a perfect styling moment.
Look #6: Monochrome Pistachio
The It color for fall with for sure breathe life into a crisp fall day. Just add your favorite boots and it’s a look!
