Hi Everyone, Gabriela here! Summer is approaching and I am so excited to be talking about my favorite wardrobe essential: swimsuits! Is there anything better than having your toes in the sand and salt in your hair as the sun wraps around your body like a warm blanket? That is my happy place, but it’s even better when you’re wearing an amazing swimsuit.
One of my favorite times to dress Nastia is for trips like the SMITH&SAINT retreat in Hawaii. I love looking at all the new swim collections and picking which ones are going to go best with the destination she’s going to. Nastia always chooses a variety of bikinis and one pieces! Keeping in mind a wardrobe tip I ALWAYS do when I go for a dip at the beach or a pool: bringing a one piece to change into so you’re not laying around in a wet bathing suit.
Swimsuits are also my favorite pieces to wear as a crop top or one piece underneath your favorite denim. In fact, swimsuits make for the best crop tops, since they are specifically designed to hug your body in all the right places. So we’ve made sure to include swimsuits that you can wear in more ways than one!
Launched in 2017, the brand was born from the desire to create statement swimwear with a superior fit and timeless design that helped to keep waste out of the ocean by up-cycling. Fisch’s entire collection is made from Econyl, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber crafted from abandoned fishing nets and other types of nylon waste.
MOEVA was founded by three women: Damla Zirh, Yagmur Zirh, and Burcu Togay. The main inspiration for MOEVA is the idea of a woman, who is both strong and elegant. Who is never afraid to face any obstacle that may come her way.
Made in Italy by a family run business in Rimini. Their fabrics are sustainable and a portion of their 2020 collection is made from a special, silky, recycled yarn.
Their fabric is sourced from an Italian mill and made from 100% regenerated materials. The mill takes ocean wastes and pre-consumer waste products and turns them into luxurious textiles. One of their goals is to completely eliminate plastic from their footprint.
Founded by Louisa Ballou who finds inspiration in her coastal upbringing. The sensuality of water and its relationship to the body finds expression in Ballou’s dynamic collection. Her colorful one-of-a-kind prints are a reference to the tropical environment in which she grew up in.
XOXO,
