‘Tis the season for festive gatherings! December is always jam-packed with holiday work parties, family get-togethers, and fun winter activities with friends. With every gathering, I usually find myself scouring my closet for the perfect attire every time. Well, closet-hunt no more! I’ve put together a list of five casual holiday looks, no matter the function, and all found on Shopbop. You’ll be festive and fabulous every time!

Sets are super versatile and great to mix-and-match. They are as comfortable as pajamas, but leave you looking fully put together. I love that you are able to wear them as separates, too! I love a good comfy set with a blazer on top to polish off and pull the look together. Sweater sets are great for your annual friends gift swap or even an in-office holiday party with casual dress attire.
LOOK 2: The Plaid Set
I get total Clueless vibes with this style and a plaid pattern always gives off holiday cheer in my book. Again, this can be worn separately, but I really love the look paired together with white sneakers and a tee. This look is definitely a bit more fashion-forward, so I’d opt for something like this for a day date to an ice rink with friends!
LOOK 3: The Sweater Dress
Sweater dresses are the perfect balance of casual and chic. They can be layered with a cropped jacket, long coat, or flannel around the waist, depending on the event, to pull the look together. If you want to edge the look up a bit, add a chunky black boot!
LOOK 4: The Slip Skirt
A flowy and comfortable skirt paired with a sweater (long sleeve or sleeveless) and some tall boots feels perfect for a work function or holiday party with friends. The fact you can be both cute and cozy is such a win-win!
LOOK 5: The Leather Pant
In my humble opinion, (faux) leather pants are such a closet staple. They provide extra warmth in the colder months, and can be styled in so many different ways, meaning multiple wears! I’d pair a pair of leather pants with a chic, sparkly camisole and a pair of heels for an office holiday gathering, or with a festive sweater to go pick out a tree!
