If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love a good juice! Now that I’m settling into my new kitchen, I’ve started making my own again and I love how fresh it tastes. There are so many fruits and veggies you can use to make the perfect morning juice tailored to you. I love a good celery juice first thing in the morning since it aids digestion and activates the gut. Other veggies I love including are carrots, kale, or cucumbers on super hot days to stay hydrated! Adding fruit like pineapple or apples is the best for giving it a little sweetness without added sweeteners and cutting the bitter taste!
Since we all have more than enough time at home lately, I figured I’d share a few of my favorite products that make homemade juice even better! Keep scrolling for everything I use at home to make my morning juices.
#1 GLASS TO-GO BOTTLES
These are amazing when I’m on-the-go! Glass is eco-friendly and easier to keep clean than re-using plastic bottles. For weeks when I’m busy in the mornings and won’t have time to make my juice fresh in the mornings I like to keep some extra in the fridge and these make it a breeze!
#2 OXO DEEP CLEAN BRUSHES
I’ve learned this one the hard way—it’s better just to keep your juicer clean every time you make a juice! These brushes are great at getting into every nook. I find cleanup is the most annoying part of this process but it’s so worth it for how good it tastes (and how much you can save by making your own).
#3 JUICE GUIDE
When I first started making my own juices I needed recipe inspiration! This book is for juicing beginners and has tons of info on the benefits of different fruits and vegetables that could work for you! These recipes are great inspiration until you get the hang of the ingredients that you like the best!
