We start off each season with endless possibilities. Filled with new eye-catching, creative ways to style our wardrobe and then whittle it all down to just one trend. One trend that speaks to the fall fashion of this moment–the epitome of the season, the true star of the show. And, this season, color-blocking, a classic with a twist, has taken on a life of its own. It’s no longer just about mixing and matching colors, it’s all about bicolored hues. I’m talking about half-and-half, two-paneled, contrasting colors…go big or go home, statement moments! This number one trend of fall is the even easier way to add a dose of color and instant cool to any outfit. Ahead are my favorites this season and how I’d style them!
Look #1: Divided Denim
If I keep it super simple, it will look good. I personally tell myself this every time I cannot wait to try a new trend. You know I love a bold color and this bold look is the latest I’m jumping on. The easiest way to style it, in my opinion, is two-toned denim—aka the best of both worlds. Styled to the left are a favorite pair from Revice.
Look #2: Bicolored Booties
Bicolored booties give me serious Neopolitan vibes (yes, the ice cream!) and it’s perfect, because boot season is upon us.
Look #3: Two-Tone Jumpers
No one needs any excuse to dive into the warmest layers at the moment, but you might as well make it fashion.
