Almost two decades ago, I had a crazy idea… but a simple one at its core: to create a stage where the next generation of gymnasts could not just compete - but truly feel seen, celebrated, and inspired. A moment for them to step onto a bigger floor, under brighter lights, and show the world, and more importantly, themselves, what they're capable of.

Somewhere along the way, it became something more. Because if I’m being honest, what makes this event and weekend special has never really been about the gymnastics, the routines, or even the final results.

It's watching friendships that form right in front of my eyes. Athletes who, just hours earlier, were strangers - maybe even rivals - now cheering for each other louder than anyone else in the arena. It's the parents watching from the stands, beaming with pride after years of early mornings and long drives to practice, knowing it was all worth it.

It's the exact moment a gymnast realizes she belongs here.
Even though the truth is... she always has.

Over the years, I've watched this event grow in ways that still amaze me. What started as an idea turned into a competition, has now become a community. A sisterhood. It's somehow become a night so many young gymnasts now dream about being part of. And those that have, now proudly add it to their social media / TV bios.


So to every gymnast who has ever stepped onto that floor - past, present, and future - thank you. Not just for competing, but for trusting this stage with something far more important than a score. Your dreams. Your courage. Your whole heart.


This Cup has always been yours. I'm just lucky enough to get  a front-row seat.
