What happens when your daily routine starts to take a cue from your sense of well-being? To me, wellness fits right in at the intersection of your body and mind, and it’s just as important as your physical fitness. Think of wellness (or well-being) as your personal assessment for your health, stability, intentions, social interactions, plus more. And, if your well-being was a cake (yum), each slice would represent an aspect of the whole! The overall stability of each piece can influence and impact your entire well-being. So, if you’re feeling out of balance, this can definitely take away from the whole, almost as if you need to replace a piece of your cake 🙂 Isn’t everything easier when you think of it in terms of cake!
It sounds simple, but taking care of yourself leads to a greater well-being. We often see self care defined in the physical-sense, with face masks and treat yourself moments, but that can often reduce other aspects of our well-being.
