Summer is in full swing and now that the heat is reaching ungodly temperatures, shorts are a MUST! I’ve realized I tend to reach for the same styles season after season, so you could say they’re wardrobe staples. My philosophy with shorts is finding the styles that work for me and investing in quality brands that will last more than one season! These 3 styles I’ve rounded up are by far the most timeless and worth buying into for the long haul 🙂 Keep scrolling for 3 of my favorite short styles I think everyone should have in their wardrobe!
#1 BIKER SHORTS
I’m a firm believer that you really can never have too many biker shorts! They’re so multifunctional and are the best alternative to leggings when it’s insanely hot outside. They come in so many fun colors and prints the possibilities are endless! Over the years they’ve only gotten more trendy which means they will always be a staple in my closet!
#2 DENIM CUTOFFS
If you’re planning on choosing one style to invest in, denim cutoffs are it. Everyone needs the perfect high waisted pair that goes with everything! Quality in denim is key if you want them to last multiple seasons I’ve learned. Vintage cutoffs are amazing for denim that’s made to last – some of my other favorite brands are AGOLDE or WeWoreWhat!
#3 TROUSER
Perfect for the days I want to get dressed up but pants are simply not an option! Trouser shorts are the perfect balance of elegance and comfort all while keeping a business casual vibe. I love to wear them with a crisp white button down if I’m going the professional route, or a simple bodysuit is my go to if I’m just going out for drinks with friends! This trend is so wearable it’s a staple in my wardrobe for both work and casual wear 🙂
