To say this was a once in a lifetime experience is an understatement. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of this incredible show with the most amazing people. This group has turned into family. Together we pushed our minds and bodies and had the privilege to get a glimpse into what the most elite special forces go through to serve their nations.

To the DS who led us through this journey, and to all members of our armed forces, the respect I have for you is beyond words. I cannot wait for you all to see more.

Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve done an about me post, and I have a few new friends here, so I thought it would be a good time to do just that :) It’s crazy/cool to me that some of you don’t even know me for being an athlete — there are so many sides to a person, and I’m just glad you’re here 💗

1. THIS IS ME 👱🏼‍♀️
2. Yes I am 100% being biased here, but Harley is THE cutest (golden doodle) dog / best friend I could ever ask for
3. I am a current member of the Athletes Commission for the LA 2028 OLYMPIC GAMES (!!!!!) @la28games
4. Speaking of Olympics… 2008 was a magical year for me - specifically that summer in Beijing :) Came back home to Texas with 5 Olympic medals, including the All-Around Gold 🥇 - which you prob thought was the “defining moment of my career” but it actually wasn’t… it was the next photo.
5. I fell on my face, trying to make my second Olympic Team - needless to say that didn’t happen, but what did was my first ever standing ovation, for the worst routine of my life - and THAT was the moment I realized what life was truly about.
6. I currently live in Dallas, TX but love spending time in nature with my family in Montana.
7. Graduated from NYU @nyuniversity - class of 2016! While my gymnastics accomplishments are something I am proud of - low key might be more proud of going to college after I retired from gymnastics - 6 years after I graduated high school.
8. This is my 10th (!!!) year with my @nbcolympics fam as the female analyst.
9. The people in my life are TRULY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE

It was such a special day, and seeing the joy on each gymnast’s face was indescribable.
